"Just Relax" is a relaxation course, for adults only. "Just Relax?" Is it really that easy? Well, no. Like anything important, it takes time, practice and commitment to really learn how to relax properly. How many of us see "switching off" as being in front of the TV with a glass of wine in the evening? Or going to the gym? But are we really giving our minds and bodies a rest from the stresses of modern life?
As parents or professionals, we spend so much time giving to others: our time, our energy, our love and compassion. But how much of these things do we really give to ourselves? Can you keep on giving, if you don't replenish your own cup once in a while?
7 StEPS TO RELAXATION
So how can "Just Relax" help? The classes give you a structured, boundaried time just for you. We follow the 7 steps to relaxation, helping you explore different relaxation techniques in a safe, nurturing space, and slowing the body down and preparing it for deep relaxation, giving you the opportunity to perhaps fall asleep if that’s what your body needs, or just to give your mind a break from information you are holding at that point in time.

The course is 4 weeks, as relaxation takes practice! It’s hard to just come along to the first session and get the benefits immediately (although this is possible) so it’s something to build into your life; making space for some ‘you’ time.

WHAT TO WEAR, WHAT TO BRING
When you are coming to a Just Relax class, please do wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in. We have some small, lovely, fluffy blankets to cuddle up in at the end of the session, but if you have a favourite pillow or blanket you would like to bring for relaxation, please do feel free to bring them along. Please also bring a bottle of water with you.
At the first session, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer form. If you have any significant health details, it would be useful for me to know in advance, so I can tailor the session to your needs.
